Duex/Duet via Web Interfaace
September 11, 2015 08:14AM
hi,

Today using the Pronto-Interface software we were able to print our first objects, on our custom made 3D printer.
Machine is using the Duex/Duet Motherboard, which I have to admit that I have been very impressed with, and would recommend to anyone.

Can I please ask if people with experience using the WEB interface can provide some guidance on;
1) We can't seem to send GCode in the Web interface, in to top of the page.... The Page does not error, but the GCodes don't seem to do anything
2) We can't seem to set the Temperature in the Web Interface.

it is like there is a read-only flag set somewhere.
Is there an updated version to the Web-Interface or can someone please provide some advice ?

thanks in advance.

3Didd.

1. If your web interface is up to date, then it will have a Settings tab, and on that will be a Software Information box with information like this in it:

Firmware Version: 1.09k-dc42 (2015-09-11)

Web Interface Version: HTML: 1.06, JS: 1.06

Your firmware version will be different, but it should start with 1.09. If it's older than that, you should upgrade the firmware.

2. If sending gcodes or pressing the temp setting buttons don't seem to do anything, go to the Gcode Console tab and see if there are any messages in the log.

The best place to get support for the web interface is probably the Ormerod forum, because user zombiepantslol (who maintains the web interface) monitors that forum.
