Mendel print quality

Hi guys,

I use a Mendel 2 and am having some quite frustrating print-quality issues - especially when it comes to curves!

I've attached a few photos of my last print attempt, along with a screenshot of it's corresponding CAD model in the hope that some of you can help me solve the problem! (I'm using Pronterface with Slic3r, with 20% infill if that's even relevant)
Ignore the fact that the print didn't finish - the y-axis rather annoyingly skipped a few steps quite near to the end of the print.

How wobbly is your frame? If it's able to flex while printing it could cause artifacts to appear in the printed piece. You could try reinforcing your frame as well as lowering the acceleration values.

It's pretty rigid but the surface it's on may be causing a bit of wobble. I'll try and reinforce both. Thanks for the advice

Does it do the same at lower speeds? Maybe the belts are not tight or bearings are loose. It overshoots the corners, lashes back too much after that. Is there any play or springiness in the x and y carriage?
