Any help would be much appreciated and if i can do anything to help the community in return I'd be glad to do so but I've been having the following problem. I just build my prussia i3 from folgertech and when i turn on pronterface and connect it i get the image attatched as a result. the thermistors on the extruder dont appear to be short circuiting at all anywhere either so i really dont know what to do next.

Disconnect the thermistor connections from the board. You should then get a MINTEMP error. If you don't the board is faulty. If you do your wiring is faulty.

This may have to do with the current firmware version you are using. Sometimes the Marlin devs' like to release a version with faulty temp detection. If I were you, I would try using the current development firmware from here if you already haven't. If this doesn't work, make sure that your thermistor settings are set to the correct thermistor type in your firmware.
