Anyone know how long a pla part will survive in water? I printed an extension ring for a shower tile floor to raise the chrome drain up to the tile height and was afraid to use pla.

Here is a post on PLA durability. Probably not what you expected. Short read.[www.protoparadigm.com]

It depends on the temperature of the water. My understanding is that is should be fine in water up to 50C or a little higher.
