Hi guys,
Dave, I've been printed with two E3D V6, for dual colour only, for a while.
I experienced oozing, not a lot, but still too much, and the use of oozing shield don't allow to cool the part properly.
To me, two nozzles are interesting only if you want to use a soluble material as support on the seccond hotend.
Because you don't mind about oozing contamination, obviously.
When you want that, Two E3D V6 or a E3D chimera works great.
But for two colours, definitely the E3D Cyclops do the job ways better.
I ended with an E3D Legend pack (Chimera + Cyclops) with mostly the Cyclops configuration mounted.
To me it's the way to go if you want dual extrusion.
But as you still have a reduced contamination from one filament to another with the cyclops,
I believe there's no perfect way to go for dual extrusion.
