Skanect and Nvidia ?
November 30, 2015 05:08AM
Guys,

Is it a must for having Nvidia GPU in order to using Skanect ?
Any experiences ?
I've been thinking buying Nvidia GT720...my CPU AMD 6000+ dual core...

Any clues?

Thanks

Its highly advisable to have an nVidia card, but its not obligatory. You have can manage with an i5 or better CPU only, but the GPU acceleration helps a ton.

A MacBook Pro with i5 manages about 8-12 FPS on High feedback quality, while a PC laptop with GPU acceleration manages about 16+ FPS, from what I've tested myself.

Practice makes perfect ofcourse, and you can do just as well without it.

Cheers
