Hello Everyone,

I'm a 3D artist just getting into 3D printing after some experience with commercial models. I am looking at getting a kit that can print at 30 - 50 microns at its hi quality settings. After doping some research i have found that he delta style 3D printers can do what I'm looking for but i was wondering if you all could share your experiences building and ultimately using these kits (I'm glancing at the Saturn 5 delta on amazon). I have a small budget of 500 bucks to spend and would love to know if there are alternatives. Ideally I want to print miniatures and board game pieces for a product I'm prototyping in the 35MM or 70MM scale.

What tools would I need to get a kit assembled and functional?
Is this something more complex than assembling a desktop PC?
What kits come pre assembled at my price point?
Are heated beds available for this kit?
How difficult is it to install these?
Any suggestions on kits of the same style of "no backlash" with larger print areas?

Any and all suggestions welcome smiling bouncing smiley

Are you referring to layer thickness at 30-50 um or XY precision?

Hello Digital Dentist,

Yes I am referring to the layer resolution not the XY precision. on the XY precision I'm looking for hi res and accuracy. Any suggestions on kits or more info on the kit I mentioned.

Thanks smiling smiley
