Bed suddenly stoped heating.

Hi, i was ready to print, everything was ok but when "Bed heating" it didnt heat up, the led in ramps does not light up... thermistor seems ok.... now im testing in proterface and the led does not light up.

I got some temperature errors in the past when not totally cooled down and i ordered to reheat, only 2 times... (just in case it matters)

Check your connections to heated bed.
Ensure that the wires upon the thermistor are not touching together or any metal parts near the hot end?
Check Do you have 12V at the bed connections when you request to turn on the heat bed in proterface?

The thermistor wires can cause mystery problems. If there is a bare spot in the covering this can intermittently touch the heater block.

It came back, i checked my wires and it was all ok, now its gone again... thermistor reads ok, but this will not heat up (red led will not turn on)

12v are reaching, hotend and fan work ok... no idea what is happening... :/

Is there 12v at the heated bed connections?
Check the pins inside the connector housings, are they tight?

yep, all wiring is ok, i had another ramps, tried and works perfectly.... d8 mosfet dead? :/

hey there looks liek you got the same kit as me my gt board had a short at the micro fuse the heat bead would only turn on if i tapped it then this happened

might wanna watch that i've since taken the fuse holder out and bridged it

Was the fuse shorted or was it spec'd to large for the intended use. Not all fuses are "fast".

Apparently that socket is not rated for 15amp.. several have reported that the fuse was fine, but the holder caught on fire!
