Feature gone bad...
This could conceivably solve many problems with new or upgraded Windows machines when connecting or reconnecting printers.
I know I spent many a night banging the wall on this and then continued reading all the other members battling this same item.
Disable driver signature enforcement win W10

You should only need to do that for the drivers with the old versions of the Arduino IDE that didn't have signed drivers.

Gotcha, im running my printer off a USB 2.0 4 port hub connected to the PC. No need to use up my USB 3 ports on the printer.

Latest Insider update fixed my USB problems, only upgraded yesterday.

Glad this helped some what. I posted this as a global, first step into 3d printing. A lot of people are gonna run into this sooner or later. But as everything get upgraded this should go away and that will still make it a mystery to some unfortunate victim.

I have two threads running the same issue.
