Prusa i3 Poor print quality(lines in print)

any idea what it might be? i don't have an z wobble had a friend print a stabilizer for me. starting to think its a print setting but not sure what it would be. I've tried different slicers only to get the same result. any feedback would be awesome

Take off the stabilizer and try again, but before you do it check all your belts, pulleys and carriages for any play, slacks or misalignment.

Try to move as fast as possible you Z axis 50 to 100 mm and check for vibrations in the carriages.

Looks like it may be over extruding. I had similar issues when I first set up my printer. It may help to print a simple test cube, one wall and hollow, and see what that looks like.

For me, I had to change the default extrusion width in repetier host to .4mm, and set the extrusion multiplier to .97. The print looked better, but the walls of the cube had a wavy pattern on them. That problem was that the motor driver current was set too high. I could actually see the waves forming with the growl of the motor. After adjusting that, the prints were perfect (enough).

It was very frustrating for me in the beginning (still is sometimes, but not as bad), trying to figure this stuff out. I watched a ton of YouTube videos on extrusion calibration. So hopefully something I said here helps.
