24V to 12V converter with Pololu footprint

I wish, I had one.
So many fans and LED-rings require 12V. An empty driver header on my 24V powered RADDS could host such a circuit....
Has anyone seen something similar?

... depending on the drawn current I'm simply soldering an 7812 with a cap on a piece of perfboard.

For higher currents I'm usind DC-DC stepdown transformers to avoid excess heating ...

I use a cheap lm2596 buck converter for my led ring light. Got 12 of the buck converters for $11 on ebay. It also works great as a dimmer for it.

I'm using these to operate a 12V UV LED bar in one printer and to power extruder fans and an LED bar in another machine: [www.amazon.com]
Not quite the same footprint, but close.
