RepRapDiscount smart controller strange characters

Hello, recently adiquiri 1 reprapdiscount smart controller (RED) of China, when I started the tests recorded the new firmware marlin activated all necessary options more so it shows characters similar to Japanese, English characters are not displayed

can we have some more info about your printer setup? controller board is the main thing. you may just have the language set wrong. not ruling out the possibility of just having the wrong lcd selected in firmware either
