Is it posible to print only part of an stl file at 100%

I want to print a part but only want the area around the holes to be 100% and the rest of the model at 50%.

I want to do this because at 50%, when I tighten the bolts down, they crush the pla.

If the area immediately around the bolt holes was 100%, all would be good.

I have tried to break the file down to parts and align them on cura but cura won't let me have parts touching and moves them apart.

Any ideas??

Usually you slice an object with 2-4 perimeters, but if you want extra strength around holes, you can use more perimeters and top/bottom layers. Then leave the infill to 50% and save time and filament.

Slic3r has a feature called load modifiers, IIRC. This allows you to set different parameters in specified areas.

Simplify can do it as well, but the part that needs to be treated differently has to be an own object.

I have tried to break the file down to parts and align them on cura but cura won't let me have parts touching and moves them apart.

Load all the parts in Cura, then right click on one of them and choose: Combine parts for multi-extruders
That will automatically place them together.
