atmega/ramps on Wanhao

Hello Folks

Has anyone converted a Wanhao Duplicator i3 to run Arduino/ramps /marlin? Mostly I want to use auto leveling. Having built my own scratch 3d printer all connections to the ramps are the same as the Wanhao are far as I can tell. 4 motors,2 thermistors,3 endstops, 2 heaters. That's it plus fans. So to me it should be a no brainer. Any opinions or advice would be great.

It's not the conversion to Arduino/RAMPS that you were looking for, but someone converted a Wanhao Duplicator i3 to Duet WiFi electronics and wrote it up here [github.com].
