p3steel, mks1.4 24v

I'm starting to get my printer wiring underway. There are a few things I need to clarify
Initially I was going with a 12v setup using MKS1.4, but recently aquired a 24v psu/Fans/heater

from past experience struggling to get 85 with a 12v bed, whats an average heat up time and max temp using 24v?
There is no option to configure 24v on my aluminium bed, will it work 24v?
Is 24V 17A enough to power everything?
