hello guys i have a problem witch is the hot end of the extruder does heat at all even on Repetier-Host or Printrun
does show the initial temp

so your room temp is 738C ? man you like it hot!!!

two options. One the thermistor wires are shorted together, two the ADC on the main chip is dead.

unplug the thermistor from the controller, Does the reading change? If it does check your thermistor and wires for shorts

If not... dead controller...

A shorted thermistor wire would show Min_Temp error

It could be a broken wire of the thermistor or you plugged it in a wrong port. I bet on broken wire or bad crimp job.

No with a ntc thermistor (what reprap uses) resistance decreases with increasing temperature

a short is min resistance and therefor max temperature in the tables, and open is min temp

That's assuming safety features are enabled. But yeah, from my experience high temps are usually a short, check the insulation goes right up to the bead and the set screw if that's how its attached isn't too tight.
