Power supply required for prusa mk2

Is a 12 volts 16.6 ampere power supply enough for prusa mk2. I have connected 5 stepper motors, 2 endstops, 2 thermistors, a heated bed, cooling fan and a hot end

If its a non cheap power supply . yes

You need 16 amps minimum. Bed of 11amp + 5 amp for everything else

But If the power supply is from a less reputable/cheap supplier sadly they tell fibs about how much current they can provide, so you need need a 20 or 30 amp to get 16.

I would go for a 20 anyways, Gives a little head room.

What would happen if i make all the connections and use a 16.6 amp power supply, lets assume its a cheap power supply?

when the current draw exceeds what the supply can handle and if it has safety feature it will shutdown with an overload.
If it doesn't have safety features It might blow up!

Or the voltage might just drop .. making heatup of the bed or the hotend slow and potentially unreliable moves as the steppers need the power and cant get it.
