I was 2 hours into a 4 hour print today, and I noticed an end was starting to come up on the print bed. At first I dabbed at it with a Q tip covered in ABS juice, but I couldn't get under the print without really pulling it up.
I went to the closet and got out a hypodermic syringe and filled it with ABS. When the print head was as far as it would get from the spot. I paused the print, raised the extruder, and shot a small stream of ABS between the piece and the print bed. Then I pressed it down with my thumb for about 30 seconds, released it, lowered the extruder, and restarted the print.
I can't believe I pull it off, but it worked. The print finished fine, except for a little ABS juice on the bottom which I can sand off.
I thought someone out there has had a similar problem and might want to give this a try.
