Hotbed read zero

Bed never heats up and the temp is reading zero. Extruder temp reads room temp. So we read to place a 100k resistor on the pins and the temp reading goes up and the bed starts to heat. All the solder connections look fine. Do I need to replace the Thermistor? Can that be done or is a new board required?

Zero is normally a break in your wires to your thermistor

Unplug the thermistor cable from the board. Take a ohm reading on the plug threw the thermistor, should be around 100k at 25c..

If its not. find the break and fix it.

It could be a dead thermistor.. you wont know till you start testing the cable...

There is nothing going through the thermistor. Any recommendations on where to purchase one?
