Homing on i3 Prusa

I'm in the process of setting up Auto Bed leveling on my Prusa. I have a few questions I wanted to ask to find out if anyone has solved or experienced at some point.

After watching a few videos on ABL setup online (Tom's Guide) I attempted to try setting my rig up with similar parameters and working from there. One of the key remarks Tom made was to invert the logic of ZMIN (const bool Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING = true) and comment out the //#define ENDSTOPPULLUP_ZMIN. I find when I do this, my induction sensor remains triggered when NOT near the heat bed, and open when near. I needed to uncomment the #define ENDSTOPPULLUP_ZMIN and set the logic to false as when it was a micro switch trigger prior. Any ideas if this setup may have a negitive effect on Auto Bed leveling?

Thank you in advance for any ideas you may have. This forum has been a tremendous help for a new tinkerer like myself!
