Thanks for the compliment . I just try to give back to the Reprap community as when i started it was a great help to me.

And now the real fun starts for you ...calibrating and printing spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Good luck

Bigfilsing,

It's very late, perhaps better said it is very early! winking smiley
but finally:

little by little, step by step very slowly ......spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I had to show it
an air printer smiling smiley

I quickly go to sleep!
Bye!

Looks very good Rob

And it looks like your have your print speed at a reasonable level.
Keep it that way . One of the biggest mistakes ive seen new guys make is to set the print speeds too high and then wonder why they are having trouble with print quality.
Keep the print speeds set to where they are now while you get some experience with extrusion amounts, layer heights and temperature settings etc Then when you have quality prints you
can experiment with increasing the print speed

Good luck

confused smiley
unbelieveable!
tonight the printer was working,
and now,he refuses to work!!!!!!
I do not know what I've done for special something
sad smiley
manual does he still running, that's okay!
.
and it has to do with the temperature ( i think!)
.
Greetings from here!

yessssssss problem found
it was the temperature sensor!
when I pulled it out of the printer began his work.
happier to because it was all a bit despondent.
okay now we continue building!
Friendly greetings all!

bigfilsing,
if you come over here again?
just click on the link please:
as you can see he is not yet working properly,
the supply amount of the supply of the PLA is not yet well
but I do not know how and where to set it.
I have yet to figure in Pronterface.
.
Repetier Host will not work well with me (I think I've put a setting wrong)
and so I made myself broken.

friendly greetings!
Rob.

Ok Rob

ZO MAN!!!
dit is knal hart goed NEDERLANDS!!!
:-)

the important thing is to me,
where do I set the speed of the extruder motor?
.
the hotend is set in the following manner:
I have one (1) A4 paper folded,
and I have also taken a single A4 paper upon.
I have made sure that one (1) A4 sheet could freely pass under the hotend between the glass.
and the folded A4 piece of paper, I can get under it with a little more effort.
double gevouwn paper touches so and the glass and the nozzle.
I hoped that was the good way of tuning?
copied on another forum that I myself have created:
.
take a look at the attachment?
.
and here I have my software from:
(not only from there though!)
[nwreprap.com]
.
;-)

Hi Rob

Your method of adjusting with a single A4 sheet sounds fine.Stay with that.

Im using Marlin on my ramps and Pronterface on my PC so i can only really advise using those.

You shouldn't be looking to adjust the speed (snelheid) of the extruder but the amount (hoeveelheid)
The speed of the extruder together with the XY&Z is set in your slicer software when you slice a model.

Ive just had a look at the Marlin version from your download link and it looks fine.
WHen you open Marlin in the Arduino software look at the config.h section , This is where all the user adjustments can be edited.
On line 282 in config.h is the adjustment for steps per mm of X,Y,Z & E , In the Marlin version downloaded from your link its set at 700 whick looks OK.

It should be that when you click Z +10 in pronterface that 10mm of PLA goes into the extruder.
You can measure this by marking the PLA with a pen or piece of tape
Maybe watch this E steps calibration

After many problems, my first print

nice right?
must say I am glad it's finally working,..... A LITTLE!!!
I first had a lockup whereby I grow things purchased again moste
also look over here:

BUT!
Now it's going to be better .......... I hope smiling smiley
although I still have to improve a few things!

Friendly greetings from here!

busy busy busy
'm very busy (due to move out of my son, he has a new home)
also the whole family is on the move and to cultivate! :-(
My printer has stood still for long,
this was the last time:
and was quite a success!
I wish now I'm using a laptop and repetier host there to try,
see what comes of it, I'm curious.
just need to look at what firmware I will run this repetier.

even so far (I am called!)
VrGr Rob.
