Why does i3 Hephestos lack upright support?

Does anyone know why the Hephestos was designed without the upright supports? The tower vibrates noticeably.

I just purchased the Prusa i3 Hephestos from BQ. Overall I'm happy. My PLA prints only ever fail during the printing of the first layer, due to trouble sticking to the bed. The hesphestos doesn't come with a heated bed, which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Did I get ripped off? I'm probably going to upgrade that, as well as the extruder, I'm thinking of getting the flex3drive, however I also want dual extruders and I don't know how to get that working while also having the benefits of the bowden style.

maybe just to keep costs down you can get supports for the tower off thingiverse and you need some 8mm nuts and rod
if you want the stl i have i can email it to you maybe its not sticking due to heat of your nossle or what you useing on the glass tape or glue
