Prusa Z Probe and then Printer Restarts

Hello all, I have had some success recently with upgrading my Prusa with proximity sensor and enabling Z Probe. The printer now homes > probes the 3 locations and then it hangs and restarts. Anyone seen this behavior before and/or have any ideas what might be wrong?

My printer has a Melzi control board, and its running repetier firmware. After probing it is returning the measured z values which are shown in the repetier host window.

We don't have the same setups by any means but we both have sensors. Mine is a BLTOUCH, which I tried to run off of the 5V supply to the servo pins. It would reset Marlin every time you energized it. I don't know if your sensor runs off of the same 5V or if it is 12 V. If it's 5V, I solved the problem using an external 5V supply. Just thought I would throw out a possibility.

thanks for the suggestion, I dont think this is it though as the sensor/switch works fine during the probe, also its an NPN sensor so when it triggers the signal is connected to ground and not VCC.
