So rating is 1.7A, this should be more than enough. My steppers aren't even warm after printing 2-3 hours. And think about your stepper drivers: If you use A4988 drivers they can give you max 1A (without special cooling) so you'll drive them only to max 2/3 of their power.
So yes, they are more than ok!
