Sunhokey Prusa i3 z axis configuration

Sorry that I am not including pictures here, but I do not feel that they would be of much help. If requested I will be happy to. My issue is in regards to stepping using the MKS GEN 2-Z V1.2 and Marlin firmware. Specifically the fact that all three jumpers are installed under all five stepper sticks this should enable 1/16th stepping. Using the calculator my total for the z axis should be 2560. I am using 2 8mm lead screws with 1.5 mm pitch and a 1:1 ratio. This results in the x axis being driven up off the lead screw. If I Chang this to 640 which is 1/4 stepping it drives the x axis to the top and registers 200mm hight.

Is something wrong with this controller or am I not doing something correctly?

I have adjusted the stepper sticks, BTW they are of the A4988 verity, to a quarter turn past dead, and all other axis are working the way they should.

Are you sure that pitch is right? Most use M8x1.25mm threaded rods. Of course that wouldn't account for the 1/4 stepping readings either.

You are right, it is a 1.25.

And I was wrong about the value being 640, it is actually 370.
