Hello everyone
I just bought new 3D printer kit (not my first one) and it was with LCD screen. Problem is that firmware that was provided with the kit do not support LCD screen. I used newest marlin that I could find and adjusted configuration.h file as much as I understand it, but all I can get is two lines of rectangles or some random characters.
Board: ramps 1,4
LCD: some ripoff of RepRapDiscount smart controller
I tried different kind of setting, changing language, changing display character settings, nothing helped.
Printer works fine because I can control it with my pc.
Also LCD should be fine because when I press button random characters change.
Motherboard type is also correct since it works with a PC.
Anyone of you have any idea what might be wrong?
