Hi, I've just got a E3D Titan extruder and V6 hotend for my Zonestar printer.

and says changing these setting using the online configuration tool. This is something I'd rather not do
but would like to know before hand just what my settings already are.
Use thermistor definition number 8:
#define EXT0_TEMPSENSOR_TYPE 8
Or select "ATC Semitec 104-GT2" if using the Online Configuration Tool (v091)
For safety it is strongly recommended to do the following:
Set the Minimum defect temperature to ensure that the thermistor shorting out is caught by the firmware.
New in Online Configuration Tool (v092) are the two options to also improve safety:
Decouple hold variance and Decouple min temp. rise to detect the thermistor coming loose. These must be set appropriately for your system to ensure that they work properly.
Upload the new firmware to your electronics.
So is there a way to download the firmware from my machine to view the current settings?
I know I can use octopi to view some of the settings but it doesnt appear to be all of them, and good for pid tuning
but I'm not sure about the rest.
Repetier host also can view and change the same settings as octopi, but the sensor type? and definition no 8.

Did you have to change any setting in the software to run the pancake stepper?
Oh and a link to the stepper motor you used would be handy.

+Luke Pettit link in the video description! No software changes required, but you should double check your stepper driver's current setting so that you don't overheat the motor accidentally.
I'm happy with that but would still like to have a copy of my settings or maybe G-Code that will allow me to affect changes to settings without using the online config tool.
