Do you refurbish nozzles ?

I tried long time ago to refurbish stuck nozzles. I got them working again but not for very long.
So since then I haven't bothered to try again.
What's your take on it. Did you do any long lasting refurbish ?

For me the nozzle was never the problem. If you have a bad spool of filament or print in a dirty/dusty environment, you might get in trouble with a blocked nozzle.
Bad filament should not be used any longer and/or dust can be kept away from the hotend by wiping off the filament with a cloth/felt before it passes the drive gear.

Anyway, I just DID refurbish my 0.4 nozzle and got it going again.
Disturbing though I have no clue why it got blocked to start with.
Ought to be connected to that I change from basic Prusa plastic cold end to my current alu extruder.
Something with alu extruder that I haven't understood yet ... ??

If I had a clogged hotend it was always the PTFE tube that got filled out by softening filament from overheating.
