bq Prusa i3 Hephestos - new model

Hi!

I'm new to this forum and the 3D-printer community.

Searching for my first 3D-printer I found the Prusa i3 printers.
I got stuck on the bq hephestos and I already ordered one at amazon.

Now I found out that bq will have a new model of the Hephestos starting next month.

The differences are:
- new design
- BQ Zum Mega 3D board (instead of Ramps 1.4)
- Knurled knobs facilitate bed levelling
- Toothed pulleys improve movement accuracy and quality

I ordered the old model for 450€. The new one will cost 100€ more (in my country) when it is availbale.

So my question is: Should I cancel my order and wait for the new one? Are the differences worth the wait and the additional cost?

VENDOR LOCK IN

If you need any help you will have to get it from the suppler as they have custom hardware and custom firmware, the reprap community will not be able to help you.
