Plastic not coming out of the nozzle

Hi there!

I am new here and new in the 3D printing technology.

A colleague of mine who has already left the company has purchased and set up a pruse i3 psique (from a Spanish shop, I've seen some reviews here). We use Simplify3D as a slider.

When he left, everything was working, but now we have problems.

I prepare the file, it starts printing (autoleveler), moving in the horizontal plane without problems, but the plastic (PLA) is not coming out. The temperature is right (210ÂșC), the gears are even moving but no printing.

I stopped the process and forced the filament to move. And the plastic was coming out, but in a new printout just a bit of material was coming out. Here is a picture:

Do you know what is going on?

thank you
regards,

Try raising the Z-offset, i.e., lift the Z-axis home position of the extruder + nozzle assembly a bit further up relative to the bed.

These machines do require periodic recalibration and tuning, so it could just be that the nozzle dropped too close to the bed over time and needs to be lifted up slightly.

Hi there,

Finally we solved the problem by increasing manually the flow to 1000.

Does anybody know how to do this with Simplify3D?

thank you
