Is it worth swapping out my MK8 hot end for a E3d hot end.

What are you trying to accomplish?

I don't use MK8 extruders myself and prefer the Wades style with gears, easier to load and prime the hotend.

Never used a E3d but I prefer quality over price

So yes I would, if you have one of the China kits

Hi and thanks for the reply.
What i'm trying to accomplish better quality prints.
I thought that making the X carrige lighter might inprove print quality because in the Bowden setup the stepper motor is elsewhere.
