Anet A8 and enclosure

Hi there,

I would like to build an enclosure (with Ikea tables) for my Anet A8 printer but I have a few concerns:
- Should I put the power supply outside the enclosure ?
- Is it recommanded for direct drive setups since the motor will be confined in a more or less heated chamber ?
- My printer is currently bolted to an heavy wood panel, sitting on a foam mat on a traditional desk. If I bolt the printer to the lightweight Ikea table, won't it be too light and won't the vibrations be back ?

If anyone has an insight on any of those concerns, feel free to post smiling smiley

I like this design for the lack tables:

It puts the power supply outside the enclosure

Hi,

Thanks for the input.

What about putting the extruder motor inside the enclosure and what about the vibrations ?

Thanks
