I was looking around for general metal parts upgrades for my new i3. I want to know what the community thinks about aluminum or steel upgrades to replace the original 3d printed parts.

What parts would be most worth it to have made of metal, and do you know of anywhere to get them?

Any other opinions on this would be great before I drop any $$ on parts.

Nothing wrong with 3d printed part, but if you have a acrylic backbone, replace it asap.

Suggestions on a replacement for the Acrylic backbone? I was given a RepRapGuru printer and I need to replace the backbone..

I have a second printer to print any needed parts for a new backbone
