New Materials?

I finally got my printer working thanks to all the posts on this forum. Thank You!!!

Has anyone tried other kinds of PLA Blends such as Woodfill / CopperFill and things like that?

and if so, what where the slicer changes you made?
Do they mess up the BuildTak?

I can highly recommend the fibre materials from FormFutura. CarbonFil and the Easywood series print really nice and without complication straight on the Buildtak (which coincidentally is also made by Formfutura). Prints very nicely at the recommended temperatures (250°C first layer, 245°C thereafter). When printing these filaments I am also removing the cover on top from the hotend so less air gets diverted from the fan through the ducts and am printing slightly slower than normal at 50mm/s.

I just ordered easywood and easyfil....

I was trying out some Filkemp with the lubrication stuff because of the known problem of the rough bowden tube... and it litterally sticks as if you had superglue on the buildtak..

its nice if you have prints that start with supports ... but its no fun to take the prints out!

so I will report after testing easywood
