Starting height for bed probe

I'm probably missing something daft here, but I know that I can set the dive distance with the command M558 H X - where X is the dive distance, but is there a way to control the starting height of the probe so that it doesnt need to travel as far?

The H parameter is the starting height of the probe, relative to where the printer thinks Z=0 is when probing starts. If you have calibrated your printer and copied the M665 and M666 parameters it found into config.g, then you can reduce the dive height to speed up probing.

Ahh I see, I tweaked the homed height parameter the other day when I was having homing issues (turned out to be the bowden tube getting in the way) and I see that's what was affecting my start height.

thanks.
David.
