DC, if you can put together an STL file of the components mounted on this board footprint I can expand my cad file to check for obstructions with the arms

I liked your idea so ordered the same part from the USA. They arrived this evening so I thought I'd try popping one on just to see if they fit... How much force??? Did you use any lube or heat them in boiling wate or something first?
They are the right size 6mm and I measured the balls at 6.0mm (+/- 0.1mm) too.

I can pop them on with my fingers, but it does some effort, I use a little silicon grease but its not essential, dont use heat.
