I'm just in the process of finishing my Fisher which is my first 3D printer of my own. I have a little bit of experience using my housemates Huxley and medium size chinese Delta printer, both of which have been using Slicer and Pronterface.
However, in my experience, Slicer hasn't been very efficient and designs terrible support material, and Pronterface's GUI is anything but user friendly.
What are the best free applications to create G-Code and control your Fisher with?
