Here are printed arms (with M3 rods)

They work well, are slightly lighter than the original, 'pops' out in case of mechanical problems, but you need to be able to print.
Mine are in PETG, I made a special version for PLA (as PLA is twice the stifness of PETG), was tested ok by someone else.

Ah, and I forgot, as PETG is chemically pretty neutral, you can use any lubricant without fear of destroying the plastic, no need for special plastic lubricant.

However printed parts tend to absorb lubricant, so a dry lubricant is better.
