Sorry in advance if you consider this to be spam but I thought there was enough to interest NZ RepRappers to warrant a post (and maybe help me win).
I am in Christchurch and made my own 3D printer late last year - see my signature for a video clip. It is based on a Prusa Mendel i2 but is more RepStrap than RepRap as the only 3D printed parts I sourced were for the extruder.
My egg rack design on thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:256007) has just been nominated in a design contest. It is a promotion by 3dprintboard.com to get more users. They are a relatively new site but it seems a pretty useful additional resource for 3D printer enthusiasts. The only downside is you need to be registered on the site to vote. Even if you don't want to register, you can still visit the site and browse the 109 nominated competition entries. Some of the designs are quite inspiring.
