The meeting will be in room Room A108

Its on the first floor.

If people get locked out they can stand by the bike stands outside the electrical building and knock on the window to get access.

Excellent turn out, bugger not to be there but maybe next time - it's nice to be busy at work after last year so can't complain.
Did anyone get any photos?

Unfortunately the main person who had contacts at Canterbury Uni (Andre from the rocket club) is now spending most of his time in the USA...

So we don't have access to Uni rooms via that route anymore..

If anyone has access to a room somewhere.. speak up and we can try and arrange something

Would a building in rangiora be ok? I think the north canterbury woodcraft club in rangiora would be willing to let us use their rooms for a small fee.
If you guys don't think its too far away, then I'll go ahead and ask em.

What sort of date and time would suit you guys? I was thinking either a weekend, or perhaps a weekday night.
Knowing what time we want makes things easier. I'll pop over tomorrow and see what we can arrange.

Ok, so I've talked to them. They charge $100 for a day of using the place, and $70 for a night. Keep in mind this is a wood workshop and there will be wood dust.
They run a night class and have an club day, so we'll also have to work around that. How many keen on having doing something? Would want to have enough people to cover 70 bucks..

Preferably any night except Tuesdays would be great for me thanks.

Any days during the next 3 weeks would probably be OK as most people have holidays.

Best if / when "Dust" can make it (he seems to be the main guy in the know).

I suppose just have the first one ASAP and see what happens from there ?
(Anyway you'll never please all of the people all of the time).

Count me in for 3 people attending please. smiling smiley

Sorry I can't do Rangiora, just to far away for those without transport.

Also wood dust is just horrid for the nose and reprap (will stick to any lubricated surfaces and clog the works)
(I swear i'm still finding sawdust from high school wood works days! and that was a long time ago!)

Hi there,
How big a room do you need? I own a Kip McGrath Education Center in Burwood which you could use.

Hi Warwick,

I'd think your room would be perfect thanks !

Dust - No worries if you need transport I can help out.

(I know a couple of other people who want to go).

How many of us are keen ???
