Hi all
Does anyone know of a NZ supplier for the Misumi 2020 T slot? Failing that which of the numerous Misumi web sites do you use to order for shipping to NZ?

Many thanks

Still none local that I know of... (5 years and still looking)

You can get 1515 locally now though... [www.makershop.co.nz]

Last time I got any I ordered from misumi in the usa to a usa postal address which was then forwarded on to NZ (it wasn’t cheap)

Sadly misumi is a bit a of a-hole to deal with.. they will not ship to individuals, unless you are in the USA.

Himm, google has listed [nz.impexron.com] contact them, see how you get on...

Thanks Dust, I might have to go the OB way - which would be a preference anyway to be honest.

They're not official Misumi's but I believe they'll work for you: [www.cnckits.co.nz]. I picked up some 2040's a few months ago and they even cut them to length before shipping them. They'll also tap the centre hole up to M5 if required. They ship out of Auckland.

There's also a bunch of aluminium extrusion shops in the Lower Hutt, they just don't advertise online.

Interesting... lots of vslot

Their web site sucks though... lots of references to domain names that doesn’t exist (seem to be backwards, eg "co.nzcustom"

their main vslot page in here http://www.cnckits.co.nz/product-category/rail/ listed as rails.

Once I placed my order I dealt with them via email. I showed him the Ormerod 2 kit on RRP's website to specifically ask if his 2040s would work and they took the time to confirm. They're very helpful, and I had my rails in Wellington the next day.

I had to get some acrylic cut in Lower Hutt and drove by quite a few aluminium extrusion shops on the way. Ullrich Aluminium in particular would probably have Misumi rails, but their website is awful!

I’ve contacted Ullrich Aluminium a number of times

They don’t stock anything this small.. (ie 2020 is small in their view)
