How is that Mindkit, Kit coming along?

I'm looking to get into this Reprap phenomenon. Though still trying to get my head around the whole procedure of getting started.

Reading the forums, I noticed Mindkits was planning a full on, complete Mendel Kit. But it isn't on the website.

Is this still goal? I know you'll have at least one very interested customer.

Start by finding someone local and get them to print you a set of plastic parts The rest you can then start sourceing and collecting the other 'vitamins'

Or get online to the IRC channel [webchat.freenode.net] channel #reprap and have a chat to they guys there.

I think Mindkits put the Mendel kit in the too hard basket, they are now talking about distributing Makerbots.

Where are you in NZ? I have just finished building a Mendel here in Nelson although I'm not happy enough with the prints yet to offer parts to anyone. I have made myself a spare set of gears for my Wades extruder, but when I tried to make a filament bracket it came out well how should I say it crap. So still some tweaking to do on that score
