Tower angular position corrections in Marlin
April 23, 2016 11:53PM
Hi guys, I have been trying to use dc42's least squares online delta calculater (http://escher3d.com/pages/wizards/wizarddelta.php) again after rebuilding my delta.
However, I still have no idea how to adjust the tower angular position corrections under the 6 factor calibration.
I tried altering the values of SIN_60 and COS_60 in the marlin firmware but it caused the printer's movement to be even worse.
What is the proper place to actually adjust these values?
Thank you smiling smiley

Hi, thanks for the reply!
Though im quite sure M666 does not have such an option, at least not for my version of marlin (I am using one of the more recent versions of RC-bugfix).
M665 has new A,B,C values which I have not come across until recently. Correct me if im wrong but I get the impression that the values of A, B and C are used to correct the diagonal rod values and not the tower angles.

Yes, that is correct. And there is a new I, J, K parameter set to handle Delta Radius trim numbers. But that is not in the RC mix. That is over on the MarlinDev side.
