If you're not using the MAX endstops, make sure they are disabled in configuration.h

What does M119 show? When an endstop isn't depressed, it should show open and when depressed it shows triggered.
If any show triggered when not depressed, invert them in configuration.h

ok... ended up using a different fork of marlin...

downloaded and flashed this one: [reprap.org]

now i have it configured where it will home ok... now i'm just figuring out all my steps/mm now
right now i have 190x190x170 in my firmware for dimensions... i know this is off but its a starting point..

question now is should my display show those values at 190x190x170 when at my home positions... (x is far left, y is all the way back, z is all the way up when homed) or should they read 0,0,0?

For a cartesian printer:
If you home to min endstops, it'll be 0,0,0.
Home to max endstops it will be what your bed and z size is.

The one that works???

Most people home towards minimum. But Delta's have no choice but to home towards max. It is configurable so you can do what ever you need to do.
