I'm getting a weird LCD display. I'm not sure whether it's a faulty LCD or something wrong with the software.

Which LCD display have you selected for in the configuration.h, and is it definitely the correct one?

I have selected REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER.

It's written "RepRapD1scount Smart Controller" at the back of the PCB

I seen that. It's for full graphic and mine is character based.

I suspect my LCD controller is broken.

It's working now. I suspect i'm missing U8g2 and U8glib library
