Wrong Probe Status

Hey there,

I am using Marlin 1.1.8 on my Anet A8 Prusa i3 clone with an inductive sensor for ABL.

For some reason the probe status sometimes gets inversed after finishing or aborting prints. When I try to rehome at this state, the probe triggers the signal (LED on) when nothing is in range and turns off if I place something right below it. So its status is inversed.
The only way to fix this is powercycling the printer.

This problem exists at least since 1.1.4. Is it a known bug?

Thanks

Well now the probe always turns on when the x or y axis moves and won't turn off until reboot or stepper motors are turned off.
Any ideas?

Ok, the latest problem was caused by the cold end fan screw touching the probe.

I like it when people say what was wrong at the end of thread. And especially when the problem turns out not to be Marlin's fault.

Yeah, otherwise the developers would search the code for a bug that does not exist.

But the initial problem persists.
