After installing a genuine e3d v6 Gold on my printer I am having temperature instability. I change the thermistor to 5 in the firmware, and have run PID tuning. It is so bad that it will occasionally not stabilize and even start printing. I have tried a new thermistor, It does it even if I am not printing, or not moving. I re-crimped the wires with the correct size connector to make sure that was not the issue. I have read that marlin 1.xxx has issues with PID auto tune, and so I trued to manually tune it. All to no avail.

I have searched google and the forum for answers to this and have failed to find a solution.

I have tried a new heater cartrage and new thermistor. At this point I am thinking about trying a pt100 temp sensor or a new main board. However, I still feel it may be firmware related.
