Ok so I had what I thought would be an amazing idea.
So I've got a Tronxy X5S
I've been wanting to build a SLA/DLP (something resin)
First thought I could just convert my X5S to DLP
Then I thought, what if I mount a build plate for DLP under the FDM build plate.
What I'm thinking is building a stand for the X5S inside the stand I will mount a projector or LCD display with an array of UV lights. The bottom of the X5S will have a Vat for resin. New endstop in series with the existing one for the Z axis.
A raspberry pi with Octoprint will control the lcd/projector and send gcode to my Arduino/Ramps.
I think this should work. Now, I'm no coder #LearnToCode so I'm coming here to here to ask people's opinions. I think the whole thing is physically capable of doing what I am asking it to do.
And it would make sense to me that Marlin would have no problems as well.
If there is some limitations via Marlin, anyone willing to help?
