Dummy thermistors showing 0.0 temp

Hi

I'm using a SKR 1.3 board with marlin 2.0. I have set dummy thermistors but when I plug in the USB it says on LCD screen that temps are 0.0 any ideas where I stuffed up.

Please elaborate on dummy thermistors, i'm guessing a resistor?

A standard one would be a 100K to give you a 25C reading...

A 0C reading normally indicates a very high resistance often open circuit (infinite resistance) depends a little on what thermistor you set in firmware

but you don't need this you can set thermistor type 998 or 999 which is 25C and 100C respectively by default. If this is what your trying to do.

It also could be incorrect MOTHERBOARD setting, as this defines which analog pin to look at, or a fault in the pin definitions... or user error where you plugged it into the wrong place....

I note that this image says you should use the middle Thermistor plugs? is that where you plugged in?
