Differences SKR 1.4 and Marlin Compatibility

Hi all,

I am wondering if the new released SKR 1.4 will have the same configuration as his old brother SKR 1.3

I am planning to get one of these SKR 1.4 + 2209 TMC Driver motors for modified Anet A8. I would like to run Marlin 2.0 and according to the documentation, it is only supported for the SKR 1.3. So, is this going to work? Even if I say to Marlin that is the SKR 1.3

You have to update the motherboard in your firmware. that is it. This changes the pin definitions to the new board.

Currently the SKR v1.4 is not in marlin... It has been added, but the new code has yet to be merged into marlin.. I'm sure its only a few days away.
